Job Target
I am not currently seeking a full-time position, however I may accept freelance design work, both print and web, photography jobs, and lecture work. Please feel free to review my credentials.
Summary
Energetic, dependable, self-starter. Able to accomplish several detailed projects simultaneously. Enjoy the challenge of complete deadline projects correctly and on time. Excel at communications with clients and vendors. Extensive knowledge of graphic design terms and printing trade customs, as well as hyper-text markup language (HTML) coding and FTP (file transfer protocol) for web page design.
Skilled in the use of programs such as Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and FireWorks. Experienced in both the design and pre-press of printed materials, as well as design and development of web sites. Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for web site development and interactivity.
I have given lectures in both graphic design and pre-press work, as well as the area of web site development to students in the graphic design program at a local community college.
Passionate about photography and work with Nikon equipment, from camera bodies to lenses. I enjoy shooting a variety of styles, from portraits to candids to product photography and special events. My work can be viewed at my online photography website.
